Orders and products

When is my coffee roasted? “As soon as you checkout with your purchase, we get a notification and we start roasting. In other words, we roast to order, we have never believed that large batch roasting coffee, bagging it and sitting it on a shelf where its subject to mould and loss of all its character is the way to make coffee.”

What grind options are available? “We offer grind sizes from Espresso (fine) to Filter grind (v60, chemex, aeropress) to French press grind size. When ordering you can select which you prefer by clicking the size button.”

What's your returns policy? “If there's a problem with your order — damaged, incorrect, or something just went wrong — get in touch within 30 days and we'll sort it. The coffee needs to be unopened and in its original packaging. Email us at info@presscoffee.london and we'll take it from there.”

What if I don't like my coffee? “Not feeling it? Get in touch and tell us what's not working — the roast, the flavour, the brew method. We'd rather help you find the right coffee than leave you with a bag you don't enjoy. If we genuinely can't sort it, we'll make it right. And if all else fails, we offer a 100% money back guarantee for your peace of mind.”

Subscriptions

How do subscriptions work? “we all just have too much going on, coffee shouldn't be one of them. So having a subscription will keep you fully stocked on coffee the way you want it, you can select between 14, 30 or 60 days in delivery frequency, and as mentioned earlier, once your automatic subscription activates, we will roast to order, not send you a bag from a long awaited stock pile. Easy to set up, and easy to cancel if you ever need a break.”

How often will my coffee arrive? “You choose: every 14, 30, or 60 days.”

Can I pause or cancel? “Certainly, once you subscribe, you get access to your member's lounge, where you can easily cancel your subscription, change the delivery frequency or pause all together.”

Can I change my coffee between deliveries? “In your member's lounge, you can edit and choose your coffee for your next order, maybe your 250g was just not enough? No problem, you can select a 1kg for the next order”

Coffee

What's the difference between espresso and filter roasts? “Historically it meant espresso was roasted typically darker than a filter coffee, however its a little more nuanced these days, for us, it is the roast level but also more about its origin and the intention of the coffee, which can change depending what we get from the coffee, for example, our Reforest coffee bean from Colombia was originally meant just as a component to our Press Blend, however trying it on its own, its not only sweet and complex as an espresso, its fruity and light as a filter. So really it’s up to you how you would like it! We simply categorise our coffee to indicate what we initially intended the coffee to be used as”

What does "roasted to order" mean? “Exactly as it sounds, when you order a coffee, we roast it, no stock piles, no dusty bags hoping for a new owner, but the coffee being the colour green at the time you order, and then roasted brown directly after your purchase. Giving you the freshest coffee possible."

How do I know which coffee is right for me? “We have made a fun little category line that allows you to shop to the list you relate to the most, think of it as a playlist on your Spotify, for example: “The wild ones” this coffee list will contain the wild cards, the coffee’s you want to question ‘is this really coffee??’ Or “the Roaster’s choice”, for the safest option or maybe “the chilled ones” where you will find coffee’s you can drink at all times of the day, yes even before bed."

What's an omni roast? “Similar to the espresso and filter roast question, an omni roast coffee was simply us realising that a particular coffee was just too good to stick it in a box, for example, the Reforest, great as an espresso, surprising as a filter. So its been roasted to suit both worlds, Omni”
