It’s been a little while… but we’re back.
After more than a year away from the blog, we wanted to take a moment to say hello again, whether you’ve been with us since day one or you’ve only just discovered Press Coffee London. This space is something we’ve genuinely missed, and we’re excited to bring it back with a fresh perspective.
As part of the growing London speciality coffee scene since 2013, Press Coffee has been dedicated to offering high quality coffees that are ethically sourced and sustainably processed.
So, what can you expect from here?
This blog is going to be a bit of everything. Think of it as an open door into our world, a place where we can share what’s happening behind the scenes at the roastery, introduce the people who make it all happen, and talk about the coffees we’re excited about. There’ll be informal updates, deeper dives into what we’re roasting, and content designed to help you learn more about speciality coffee whether you’re just getting started or already deep into your coffee journey.
Most importantly, we want this to feel welcoming. Coffee can sometimes feel overly technical or exclusive, and that’s not what we’re about. Great coffee is for everyone, and we’re here to share what we love in a way that’s approachable, honest, and hopefully interesting.
Through this blog, we’ll be breaking things down in a simple, approachable way. Whether that’s explaining flavour profiles, brew methods, or what actually makes a coffee “speciality.”
If you’re new to all this: you’re in the right place and if you already know your way around coffee: we hope you’ll still find something here that sparks your interest.

Our Roastery & The People Behind It
At the heart of everything we do is our roastery.
Tucked away in Herne Hill, South London, it’s where all the magic happens, from green bean sourcing to profiling, roasting, and packing. It’s a space driven by curiosity, craft, and a genuine passion for coffee.
Our roastery team is small but deeply dedicated. Every coffee we release has been carefully selected, roasted, and tasted multiple times before it reaches your cup. From early mornings fine-tuning roast profiles to long afternoons cupping and brainstorming, there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes and we’re excited to start sharing more of that with you here.
Over the coming months, we’ll introduce you properly to the team and give you a closer look into the day-to-day life of the roastery.
