Origin Story

 The farms agricultural journey began in 1995, and in 2010 they started cultivating coffee at El Vergel Estate in Tolima. By 2015, they had successfully harvested their first varietals.

In 2017, after facing challenges in the local market, the farmers, Martha, Shady, and Elias set out to find innovative ways to add value to their coffees and close the gap between producers and roasters.

Sourced through Forest Coffee who were founded in 2019 with a vision to unlock the true potential of Colombian coffee through innovation in processing, education, and sustainability. Their mission is to connect coffee growers directly with international markets, ensuring fair pricing and full transparency.

The Process

The process begins with special fermentation to extract unique flavours. The caffeine extraction involves circular containers filled with a blend of water and ethyl acetate, lowering caffeine levels to 0.1%. The outcome is a smooth, flavourful, and highly enjoyable coffee.
